We are asking all government agencies, their officers, NorthWestern Energy, MSTI to remove from consideration the proposed substation in Townsend, Montana.  We ask that the substation and MSTI (500kV ) transmission lines be eliminated and/or moved to public land for least private impact.

We are concerned with all effects and/or impacts that this substation and its transmission lines may have on property values, property rights, human health, cattle, wildlife, aviary, fish and game, rivers and streams, aesthetic beauty and All other Environmental Quality and Resources.

Respectfully submitted by concerned individuals and/or groups or entities who wish to PROTECT and PRESERVE our quality of life for ourselves and every generation that has the right to a clean, healthy and safe environment.

We need to make a good showing so that we can impress upon her how many people are opposed to this project.

Please make every effort to come and drag people with you.

We're asking that you come early so that we can organize our approach.

When the Bonniville/MT power line went through, many if not all the landowners were advised by their attorneys to negotiate a settlement with the utility companies.  This was a big MISTAKE!

Had they forced the utility companies to condemn their land, then they wouldn't have to worry about another line coming over their property today.

Every landowner listed on the attachment, who may have a NW Energy line coming onto their property needs to understand this.

NW Energy is very concerned right now about having to condemn property that is in conservation easements because they know they won't settle.  They are concerned because they know they won't be able to go through that property again.

If everyone around that proposed substation forces NW Energy to condemn their land, then none of the other lines can come in!!!

Every property owner with a proposed line coming in should force condemnation.
